Mascot Information

Participants must wear an approved mascot costume that is safe and appropriate for the race.

Participants must be physically fit and able to run the race.

Participants must obey all instructions given by the race officials and volunteers.

No foul language, derogatory comments, or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated.

The race officials reserve the right to disqualify any participant who does not follow these rules and regulations or who acts in an unsafe or inappropriate manner.

Participants must arrive at the designated area at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the race. The race course will be marked and participants must follow the designated route. The race will start and finish at the designated area.

The race officials will be monitoring the course to ensure that participants are safe and follow the rules.

The race officials reserve the right to cancel the race in case of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age or have written permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate.

The organizers of the Blue Tie Affair at the Park and their respective agents and employees will not be held responsible for any injuries or damages that may occur during the race.

All participants must wear the entire mascot costume for running.

Any participant who interferes with another participant's ability to compete will be disqualified.

Any disputes or concerns regarding the race must be brought to the attention of the race officials immediately.

By signing up to participate in the Mascot Race at the Blue Tie Affair at the Park on Friday, June 9th, 2023, all participants agree to abide by these rules and regulations.
