- Temporary housing
- Emergency home repairs
- Uninsured or underinsured personal property losses
- Disaster legal services
- Disaster unemployment assistance
- Medical, dental, and funeral expenses directly related to the disaster
Residents can apply for FEMA assistance by visiting www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 800-621-3362.
“This federal disaster assistance is a critical step forward for our community,” stated Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño, Jr. “It provides access to essential resources that will help our residents recover and rebuild. I extend my gratitude to President Donald Trump, Governor Greg Abbott, U.S. Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, and U.S. Representative Vicente Gonzalez for their advocacy and support. I also want to recognize the tireless efforts of our state and local officials, the Cameron County Emergency Management & Fire Marshal Service, and all emergency response personnel who served our community during and after the March 2025 storm.”
