Extension of Covid-19 Declaration of Local Disaster for Public Health Emergency

Effective today March 21, 2020, Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino, Jr., with the advice and consent of Commissioners' Court has ordered an extension of the COVID-19 Declaration of Local Disaster for the Public Health Emergency issued and signed on March 16, 2020. This order is issued as an emergency measure and pursuant to the 418 .108 et seq. of the Government Code and the Cameron County Emergency Management Plan to protect the significant threats to life, health and property due to COVID-19.
