The centers will operate from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on their opening day and will transition to regular hours of 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. starting Wednesday, March 28, 2025. All centers will be open seven days a week to provide vital support and recovery assistance. The addresses of the four Disaster Recovery Centers are listed below:
Cameron County Harlingen Convention Center 701 Harlingen Heights Dr. Harlingen, TX |
Willacy County Sebastian Community Center 434 West 8th Street Sebastian, TX |
Hidalgo County Weslaco EDC 275 S. Kansas Ave Weslaco, TX |
Starr County Starr County Courthouse Annex 100 N. FM 3167 Rio Grande City, TX |
Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño, Jr. expressed his appreciation for the rapid establishment of these centers following last Friday’s major disaster declaration: “I’m pleased to announce the swift opening of FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers, ensuring immediate assistance for our Cameron County and Rio Grande Valley residents. These centers serve as a critical resource for individuals seeking to recover qualifying expenses incurred due to the March 2025 floods. I strongly encourage all affected residents to visit a Disaster Recovery Center and be sure to bring any receipts for flood-related expenses and photographs of damage to personal and real property.”
Residents can visit any of the designated Disaster Recovery Centers for assistance.
