Notice 1: Policy of Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability

(Applies to counties employing 15 or more individuals)

The County of Cameron does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission or access to, or employment in, its federally assisted programs or activities.

Mr. Anthony Lopez, Civil Rights Officer and Assistant County Administrator, has been designated to coordinate compliance with the nondiscrimination requirements under Section 504 of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations (24 CFR Part 8).

Notice 2: Citizen Participation & Grievance Procedures

The County of Cameron has adopted formal complaint and grievance procedures regarding its Texas Community Development Block Grant Programs (TxCDBG).

Citizens wishing to file a complaint or grievance about TxCDBG services or activities may do so in writing during normal business hours, addressed to the Civil Rights Officer at the above address. The County will make every effort to respond fully within fifteen (15) working days where practicable.
