Environmental Health Program
General Sanitation
The General Sanitation component is committed to addressing the abatement of various sanitation nuisances. These issues include overgrown grass, litter, abandoned vehicles, illegal disposal of grey water, and the accumulation of discarded tires on properties. This component offers services designed to effectively manage these concerns.

Investigation
All received complaints related to general sanitation issues are investigated. These investigations are initiated within a period of seventy-two hours from the receipt of a complaint.
Enforcement
Adherence to all relevant state and county guidelines concerning general sanitation is enforced. Notices of abatement are issued as necessary, and follow-up investigations are conducted within a specified timeframe. In cases of confirmed non-compliance, matters are escalated to the local justice of the peace to facilitate appropriate legal proceedings.
