The Cameron County Indigent Health Program helps low-income Cameron County residents, who do not qualify for other state or federal healthcare programs, have access to health care services.

Benefits are limited to participating administrators who provide primary, preventative and some specialty services. Some of these services include:

  • Physician Services

  • Annual Physical Examinations

  • Immunizations

  • Medical Screening Services

  • Prescription Drugs

  • Inpatient Hospital Services

  • Outpatient Hospital Services

Who is Eligible for Services?

The program is available to any who:

·         Lives in Cameron County

·         Has an income level at or below 21 percent of FEDERAL POVERTY GUIDELINES

·         Does not exceed $2,000 in resources within the household or $3,000 if a person in the household is aged (60+) or disabled.

·         Is not eligible for Medicaid or any other third-party payer assistance.

You may come by one of our offices to pickup an application and make an appointment.
