Temporary Closure of Drive-Thru at 3302 W. Wilson Rd., Harlingen, Texas
BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS — The Cameron County Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office announces a temporary closure of drive-thru services.
Effective Monday, February 2, 2026, the drive-thru at the County Annex, located at 3302 W. Wilson Rd., Harlingen, Texas, will be closed. The lobby at this location will remain open and continue serving customers during normal business hours.
During the closure, customers who wish to use drive-thru (motor bank) services are encouraged to visit the Harlingen Motor Bank, which remains open and fully operational at:

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The temporary closure is necessary to allow for repairs and improvements that will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient service for the public. The drive-thru is expected to reopen in late April or early May 2026, subject to repair timelines.
The Cameron County Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office appreciates the support of the Cameron County Commissioners Court in addressing this issue and remains committed to improving services for residents throughout Northern Cameron County.
